Xi’an

Xi’an is the capital of Shaanxi Province in central China, located at the eastern end of the Silk Road and was once home to the ruling houses of the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties. Xi’an’s surrounding plains hold the archaeological sites that are famous for the Bingmayong (Terracotta Army), thousands of life-size, hand-molded figures buried with China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang.

Ocean Park is located on the south end of Hong Kong Island, in the Aberdeen District. There are three main attractionsin the area, the Lowland, the Headland, and Tai Shue Wan. The three areas are connected via a cable car network. The theme park currently has over 14 rides and other attractions such as aquariums. Besides housing two roller coasters, Ocean Park also features giant pandas, a jellyfish and Chinese sturgeon aquarium, as well as a four-storeyed aquarium displaying more than 2,000 species of fish. Dolphin show is a major attraction here.

Disneyland

It is the largest theme park in Hong Kong. Major attractions include main street U.S.A., fantasyland, Adventure land, Tomorrow land, Grizzly gulch, Mystic point, Jungle cruise and Toy story land. Lantau Island

Symphony of Lights

This is the world’s largest permanent light and sound show according to the Guinness World Records and includes 44 buildings on both sides of Victoria Harbour (incidentally the light show setup cost 44 million HK dollars). The show creates an all-round vision of coloured lights, laser beams and searchlights performing a stunning, unforgettable spectacle synchronised to music and narration. There are five main themes –Awakening, Energy, Heritage, Partnership and the finale, Celebration.

Madame Tussauds

Is part of the renowned chain of wax museums founded by Marie Tussadus of France. It is located at the peak tower on Hong Kong island in Hong Kong. It is the first Madame Tussauds museums in Asia. The Hong Kong branch houses nearly 100 wax figures of internationally known personalities, with Asian figures taking up more than a third of the total. It has famous wax statue of Indian celebrities like Mahatma Gandhi, Amitabh Bachhan, Narendra Modi etc.
